Children's dentistry
It is sometimes assumed that baby teeth are not very important, but this is not the case. Losing a baby tooth too early can cause alignment or spacing problems in the permanent teeth. Baby teeth provide the foundation for a healthy permanent set, which is why we like to begin caring for them early. It is also important for parents to help finish brushing their children's teeth until around the age of ten.
We recommend bringing your children along to your own check-ups from a young age. From around two years old, we recommend booking a check-up for the child too. We introduce children to the dentist in a playful way. After an appointment with the dentist or hygienist, your child can choose a small gift. Becoming familiar with the dentist early can help prevent anxiety later in life and gives children access to dental guidance from the start.
